For your enjoyment there is also a large community pool and clubhouse. A short walk south on the beach, you will find one of the protected turtle hatcheries run by the Costa Rican government. The volunteers there are very friendly and knowledgeable and if your timing is good, you might have the opportunity to watch the turtle hatchings make their first march to the sea!
